Test Shot
I tried many different shots such as, low shot, high shot eye view etc, however i personally think the best on is the eye shot as she has a personal connection with the audience. I mainly focused on mid shot as i want the audience to see what shes wearing but also focus more on her facial expression. She was a very happy person and that fitted with my music magazine, pop.

Flat Plan/ Deconstruction
Front cover flat plan/ Deconstruction
I decided to draw a similar shot from the 'billboard' magazine, this is because there is a angle of gaze in the shot. i also like the way the shot is presented, there is a mid angle shot so you can see from the leg and above. In a pop music magazine, the editors always have a mid shot of the artist, there isn't a close up shot in any pop music magazine. As for the anchor i decided to have it at the bottom of the magazine, so halfway the model main image. This is because i got inspired by the music magazine 'Latina', Camilla Cabello name is written to where her waist is, the readers can see who it links too.
For the cover-lines I decided to place it all on the left hand side, this is because my main image is going to be big, which covers most of the page. I'm placing one of Tia's quote on the right hand side, really big as the readers can be attracted by it, as the inside double page is going to be an interview with tia.
Double Page Spread/ FlatPlan
For the double page spread i decided to take inspiration from 'Jessie J' article as it looks simple and yet still effective. For the main image on the spread i want a close up of the model, where you can see a bit of her chest, but the camera focusing more on the facial expression. For the other extra images that we need, are going to be long shot of the model showing her outfits and what she likes doing as a singer. I really like how Jessie's interview is laid out, its questions and answers. The questions are in different colour which links to the main colour scheme of the housestyle, and the answers are in black.
Dropcap in the beginning of the interview would look good, eg talking about who the model is and what the interview is about. However before that I will add a standfirst which will talk about that the model is an upcoming artist who has taken over the internet. etc. When producing the double page spread i will be looking back at this article to be inspired from.

Statement Of Intent
My aim is to create a
front cover and a double page spread article for an entertainment music
magazine aimed at audience of 14-19 year olds. The magazine I will be producing
will be for people who are interested in pop music and appreciate the artist
even more, this is because when I did the audience research realised that most
my target audience prefer to listen to this genre, they’re very passionate for
pop music.
The name for my music magazine will be called ‘Making Music’ the
reason for this is because my magazine focuses on new and upcoming artists,
that need to be recognised by the public. My magazine will include artist such
as Zedd, P¡nk, Ne-yo, Khalid, etc. This was very hard to think of as many
of the names I wanted was taken, or it didn’t fit in with the genre.
The main image on the front cover will be a mid-shot
of the model; this is because I want the readers to look at what she’s wearing
but also her facial expression, as that is major, it’s important to have an
angle of gaze. The facial expression would be fun as that is what is seen in a
pop magazine. I want my model to be wearing casual clothes as I want the
audience to be focusing on her face more. There will be other images inside the
double page spread so the views can know who she is; it will enrich their
understanding of the artist. I have decided that for the double page spread I
will do a question and answer with the artist, so the readers can have a great
idea of who this mysterious artist is. There will be 3-4 picture in the double
page spread, one main one which will go across half the page and the rest will
be long shot of the model, doing what she loves the most. The double page
spread will be well written about the artists’ mysterious life, the audience
will then have a greater understanding of who she is. I want my magazine
to stand out and scream the name ‘pop’, for that i will use vibrant colours
such as yellow, pink etc.
